Bienvenue Café & Bistro in Memmingen

Everything was delicious, especially the egg liqueur cake!

Very cozy and attractive ambience. The Prinzregententorte was unique in this style. Without marzipan coating with white cream between dry layers of dough. But yes, the tastes are different. It remains a nice place to read the newspaper and have coffee.

Very nice ambience and delicious breakfast. Unfortunately we had a not so friendly wait staff :( Had ordered scrambled eggs that took a little longer, which actually wouldn't be bad because the cafe was very busy, which would be understandable. After asking if she had forgotten my scrambled eggs said she thinks it would still be in the kitchen, but otherwise a very nice cafe

Very good There are enough parking spaces in the town hall, the cafe can then be easily reached on foot. It is nicely furnished, there are also tables outside, on the one hand on the street side (who likes it busier), on the other hand in the courtyard of the Zangmeisterpassage. The staff was quick and friendly when I visited. Ordered drinks & food were quickly prepared. There is an extensive breakfast menu. The prices are not low, but what is on offer tastes good and is well worth the price. Small specialty: If you want, you can also enjoy fair trade coffee instead of "normal" coffee. Clear recommendation for those who e.g. want to treat yourself to a nice breakfast.

The best cake I have had in awhile. If going there, order Mozart Torte!

Dear Barbara. Thank you for your quick and kind reply. I understand now about the visa cards. It is my first time in Germany for many years and I think bank rates must be different there and I can understand it is more difficult for smaller businesses.. My apologies for the initial negative review I was a bit dramatic :) I have now upgraded it to a 5. Actually we had a great time there.. the decor was amazing, drinks really good and well presented. The waitress who served us was very kind also. We would like to visit again and next time I will take a trip to the bank beforehand :) All the best. Paul

The Bienvenue is worth a visit. The ambience is very nice. There is something trimmed on precious and yet the masonry looks out from behind the decoration. This gives the location that certain something. The food is good and recommended. Furthermore, the counter with cakes, pies and chocolates is recommended. Very nice selection, which is not available in every café. 2 thumbs up for that. Stop by the Bienvenue.

Charming cafe/ bistro with huge variety of cakes, they have every possible flavor. I had an amazing lemon tart with rose goo tea which was really good.

A kind of high style cafe you will find in old Europe. Service is quite good inspite of many tables and rooms and only few ladies at the desk and a couple of guys serving tables. Menu is reach and tasty. The only downside was the request to pay in cash.

we were here with 6 people. The reservation was possible without any problems. The service was very nice and the food was delicious with plenty of choice. However, the orderman of the service at our table at the table almost no reception, which gave the order a little more difficult. In addition, customer parking would be highly recommended. Because unfortunately you can park in the city center of Memmingen only a maximum of 2 hours which is too short for a meeting with friends including breakfast (was then a penalty list: /)

Barbara, the owner, and her staff offer excellent coffee, delicious desserts, and a wide selection of breakfast and lunch menu. It is always a delightful excuse to sit back and unwind in a luxurious ambiance and pleasant atmosphere, relishing the excellent food and getting spoiled by the friendly and attentive service. This experience should be one of the highlights when visiting Memmingen.

This is probably the nicest Café in Memmingen, but not the best. The place recently changed hands twice, and the latest owner went for the French flare. The coffee is rather weak and the cakes do not compete with the high standards achieved by some other Cafés in town, while not being any cheaper than them. Still, the place has a nice ambience you might want to experience for yourself.
